OOTD

Today was a good day. Worked at my favorite salon, enjoyed my awesome coworkers, ate some Thai food, and am now relaxing at home. Here is my Outfit of the Day.

No idea where my head went in the last picture. Ask my photographer/husband.

But, I guess my head has nothing to do with my clothing.

I am off to finish coloring my hair, because I just can't get away from hair 

color, even after coming home from a salon all day!

Back from another illness/Cleaning and Baking.

Ok, so I am finally making another post. I just recovered from illness number two, and it kicked my butt. I am so  thankful for my health, and to be feeling (almost) normal again. Hopefully that is the last illness for a looong time, so I can actual stay consistent in making posts.

Today was a day off for me, and I was so excited to spend it cleaning and baking. Yes, I know, I am one of those weird people that enjoy cleaning. So now I have a shiny apartment, and some yummy cookies in the oven!

I had all intentions of posting an outfit of the day today, but unfortunately, I don't think a t-shirt and jeans counts as an outfit. So, how about an "Apron of the Day" post?

Another post soon. Hopefully everyone is staying healthy!

P.S. Only 12 days until my etsy shop goes live. I cannot wait, I've been knitting and gluing and sewing like crazy!

Today, I really miss my best friend. She is the coolest girl I know, and I love her to death. But sadly, she is currently living on the other side of the world. Which especially doesn't help with the whole missing her situation.

So what do I do when I miss her? I look at awesome (and slightly dorky) pictures of us. And I remember why we've been BFF's since 1st grade. There is no one else that gets me the way she does, and I'm blessed to have her in my life.

So Sharla, if you are reading this. This is a tribute to you, and how much I love us!

Day 1 (Monday)

Hello, everyone! I am finally back. After a week of feeling not so hot, I'm able to finally get back to work.


Here it goes:

This is what I wore yesterday (Monday). It was snowing outside, and pretty freaking cold. This is my best "I'm totally comfortable, and not freezing my butt off " face. Convincing? Probably not, haha! The pictures are a bit blurry, but I think it's because my hubby was messing with the camera settings :).

 I've been hanging out with my mom for the past few days, and I LOVE having her in Seattle. We drove all the way to Portland yesterday to go to Powell's bookstore. Somewhere in our minds, we were able to justify our over 2 hour drive for the love of books. Ok, maybe it's more like a sick obsession with books. Although, we did make a pit stop for donuts, to further justify the long trip.

So I've wanted to start on my new series really badly, but I am really sick. I had all intentions of taking daily pictures, and posting them each day. But, unfortunately no one would want to see a girl who looks kind of ill and incredibly sleepy.

I hope to start feeling better soon, so I can get back on track with my blog.

Passion for fashion.

I mentioned in my last post, I am going to start a series on this blog of mine. I am constantly inspired by the beautiful and unique style and clothing that is shared in the blogging community. And for me, getting dressed is something that I look forward to every single day! So, why not share that love with everyone else? Now, I don't think I'm a fashion guru or anything, I just love it in general. I'm not sure if every outfit will get posted daily, or weekly. Heck, I don't even have a name for it. So, I guess for now you will just be on your toes to see how this all works out, yes?

Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful week so far. I've been busy hanging out with one of my little brothers. I'm so thankful he came up to visit. Be back soon!

Six years (1/1/11)

 Today marks the 6 year anniversary of Ian and I being together. It has been quite the adventure, and I've loved every minute of it. So, to commemorate this occasion, here are a few old (REALLY old) and newer photos of our time together.
